The official 2026â27 Age Group Matrix has been released following the national transition to school-year age group formation. Beginning Aug. 1, 2026, age groups will run Aug. 1 – July 31.
The shift away from the current birth year (Jan. – Dec.) format reflects a collaborative decision across national youth soccer organizations to better align players socially and developmentally.
We encourage all parents, players, and organization members to review the updated matrix as planning begins for the 2026â27 seasonal year.
