Classic team tryouts for the following seasonal year can only be conducted by member clubs after the conclusion of all of the Louisiana State Tournaments (e.g. The State Cup, Presidents Cup, Bob Abbott Cup) in which that age group shall compete.
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2026, LOUISIANA SOCCER WILL CHANGE FROM USING THE PLAYER’S BIRTHDAY TO DETERMINE THEIR PLAYING AGE GROUP TO NOW BEING BASED ON THE SCHOOL YEAR (AUGUST 1 – JULY 31).

2026-27 Louisiana Classic Tryouts
11U through 13U Age Groups
Classic Team Tryouts shall commence on the Monday following the conclusion of the Bob Abbott Cup and shall conclude on the third Friday thereafter at 12:00 Noon.
Tryout Period starts Monday, April 13, 2026
Invitation Date: Friday, May 24, 2026 @ Noon

14U through 19U Age Groups
Classic Team Tryouts shall commence for each specific age group on the Monday following the conclusion of the LSA State Cup for that age group and shall conclude on the second Friday thereafter at 12:00 Noon.
Tryout Period starts Monday, May 25, 2026
Invitation Date: Friday, June 5, 2025 at Noon
