Administrators

"Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another."  ~ Erma Bombeck

Youth soccer administrators, whether paid or volunteer, are the back bone of Louisiana Soccer Association and every other youth development program across the country. We celebrate and thank each of our administrators and LSA is committed to helping each of you perform your tasks as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Registration.  It is through GotSoccer that club and team administrators will conduct most of their registration duties. GotSoccer is also the LSA scheduling platform so administrators will accomplish all of their scheduling and rescheduling tasks here as well. Both GotSoccer and LSA will assist you in any way to become familiar with the platform's many functions.

Jeff Schoonover is LSA's Registration and League Manager. He can be reached at Jeff@LSA-Soccer.org or 225-766-0577 with any questions.

Annual Reports.  Administrators mus make certain their club has filed an Annual Report with LSA. It is the information on these Annual Reports that enable LSA to maintain quick and effective communication with our membership.

Risk Management. LSA has adopted US Youth Soccer's KidSafe Program. To that end LSA has implemented policies and procedures to help insure that our kids are playing in a safe and fun environment.

Coaching Qualifications.  To be a coach at the competitive level, one must earn a US Soccer National E-License. Coaches and their club administrators are responsible for insuring every competitive coach's licensing credentials are properly listed in their GotSoccer account.

Insurance. LSA  maintains insurance for its membership. Often an LSA member who is looking to file an insurance claim will first go to their club or team administrator. LSA has made insurance claim parameters and procedures accesible on our website. Administrators can become familiar with these parameters and procedures and should direct players and their families to the Insurance page for reference.

All of us at LSA want to thank each of our club and team admiistrators as well as those volunteer administrators across the state who work with LSA to bring our soccer programs like ODP and TOPSoccer to life!
