Unlike most other youth sports programming, Louisiana ODP is a self-funded program. The costs to run ODP are determined first. Then the potential number of participants is estimated. Finally the costs are divided by the number of ODP participants. There is no profit built into ODP costs and no other LSA programming is funded through revenue generated by ODP.

Refunds
Commitment to ODP is a commitment to the entire program. We expect each player accepted to an ODP pool will attend every ODP event unless an excusable conflict arises. No refunds issued will be issued and no partial payments will be accepted except in the case of a season-ending injury. LSA may require a doctor's note befor any refund is issued.
What Costs Do ODP Fees Include
The costs include the price of training, administration, coaches, equipment, events, and scouting services from the South Region. Each state is responsible for hosting scouts across training and/ or events. LSA will be hosting US Soccer and South Region ODP Scouts for player identification purposes during assigned training events. As a true non-profit organization, LSA is obligated to our members including all of our ODP players and their families to make every effort to keep costs at a minimum. ODP revenue is not used to fund other LSA programming.
Financial Aid
LA ODP offers financial assistance to players and their families who need financial aid in order to participatte in ODP. As a non-profit organization, LSA has a limited amount of funds to finance our various programs and events. While we try to accommodate all requests for financial aid, we must evaluate each application individually and in the context of available funds. In order for your application to be considered, you must complete and submit the following documentation
-
Original Application for Financial Aid;
-
Copy of Income Tax Returns (IRS 1040);
-
Copy of most recent IRS W-2 Form; and
-
Documentation regarding financial aid granted from your Club.
All information and documentation you submit will be held in strict confidence, will only be reviewed by LSA and will be destroyed after once a final determination is made. For more information contact Valerie Clouatre at valerie@lsa-soccer.org.
