The Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA) announced today the appointment of Tucker Reynolds to be the next Executive Director of LSA.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring a person with Tucker’s experience to Louisiana,” said Sean Esker, LSA President.   “We are confident that Tucker will help us continue to grow Louisiana soccer for players of all ages and skill levels.”

Tucker joins LSA from Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, where he served as Director of Communications since 2010.   At Massachusetts Youth Soccer, Tucker developed corporate sponsorships and partnerships for the second largest state association in the country.  He developed and maintained all elements of advertising and marketing as well as Internet and social media for Massachusetts Youth Soccer while also assisting with state championship events.

Prior to joining Massachusetts Youth Soccer, Tucker was an attorney in private practice for nearly thirty years.

He has been a Region I Olympic Development Program Senior Staff Coach since 2007 with experience at national ODP camps and international tournaments.   Tucker served as the Women’s Soccer Coach at Framingham State College since 2005, and he and his team were awarded the 2007-2008 NCAA Sportsmanship Award winners.

Tucker holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a “C” License from US Soccer.   He served on the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Instructional Staff and has experience coaching with various youth soccer teams as well as high school teams in addition to his ODP and collegiate coaching experience.

Tucker is a graduate of Hobart College with a law degree from Suffolk University Law School.   He and his wife, Nunzi, have three adult children who all participated in intercollegiate athletics.

“Tucker’s enthusiasm for soccer is evident,” continued Esker.   “He is a knowledgeable, energetic and passionate man whom we feel will have an immediate impact on Louisiana soccer.”

Tucker will begin his new role with LSA on July 7, 2014.   Please join us in welcoming Tucker Reynolds to the LSA family.
