Louisiana Soccer Association ("LSA") strives to provide the most fun, positive and productive soccer opportunities for its entire membership as possible. In addition to the Louisiana Competitive Soccer League, LSA organizes and runs State Championships for all levels of play. The Louisiana State Championship Series determines champions at all levels of competition.
Recreational State Cup
These state-wide tournaments are held throughout the spring and see the finest teams in Louisiana compete for the championship.
LSA also runs the Kohl's Cup each year. Kohl's is a valued partner of US Youth Soccer and each year they sponsor recreational tournaments across the country. Each fall LSA acts as host to the Kohl's Cup and each year more and more soccer families are making it one of the most fun and festive soccer events of the year.
In conjunction with our Technical Department, LSA also hosts numerous coaching and player development programs across the state. From a D-License Coaching course to a player development seminar at our Annual General Meeting, LSA strives to provide our entire membership with events that encourage and excite players, coaches and soccer families across the state to learn, improve and grow in the game.
Player development is enhanced by competition and the more a team can play a variety of opponents, the more they will improve not only as a team, but as individual players as well. The Olympic Development Program allows elite players from across Louisiana to play with and against some of the best players in the Region. Tournaments run by LSA member clubs and sanctioned by LSA also provide teams with opportunities to face new opponents, new styles of play and new levels of competition all of which leads to development as a player.
These page will describe some of the events presented year round in Louisiana.
