LSA Employment Opportunities
The Louisiana Soccer Association ("LSA") is a nonprofit organization with headquarters
in Baton Rouge. We are seeking an individual to serve as bookkeeper in our state headquarters in Baton Rouge. The position will entail the entry and payment of invoices and bills (accounts payable), the administration of all billing and sales invoices, recording all deposits, and scanning and filing all work. It will also require interaction with the LSA Treasurer, Executive Director and all LSA Program Managers.
The successful candidate must have prior bookkeeping experience, an understanding of double entry bookkeeping and accounting cycle and a proficiency in Excel. It is preferred that the candidate also has an understanding of Sage, Peachtree and/or QuickBooks.
Hours are flexible and you will be provided in-depth training. LSA staff operates as a team so functions and tasks may extend beyond bookkeeping.
