If there are any errors with regard to your team’s Blackout dates or games scheduled to be played in a tournament, you must notify Gabi Erny by Thursday at 5PM at gerny@jce-law.com. If you do not notify her by then no changes can be made.
Attached also are the procedures for handling LCSL reschedules. Please note they have changed since the Fall. There are no exceptions to these procedures. Click here for the reschedule procedures.
There are several games that have not been scheduled a field or time but have been scheduled on a date. These are mostly due to the game being a home game for a team whose club is hosting a tournament that weekend or in Slidell’s case where the field is not available due to a parade. We tried to work through most of these but sometimes, due to the number of scheduling considerations, in order to keep the home field, the game could not be put on another date. Home teams please check with your club to see if they will assign you a time and field within the tournament and report that back to jenniferdavis@lsa-soccer.org. If that cannot be done, attempt to reschedule the game through the procedures or if not schedule the game at your opponents field. These issues need to be resolved by February 1 or LSA will work to schedule them.
There are 3 games that a date could not be scheduled for the game to be played, with the team’s blackout dates and the other blackout dates from within the league. In most of these cases, it involves teams from the same club and hopefully they can work out a date to play them potentially during the week. These also need to be resolved by February 1 or LSA will work to schedule them.
Please remember in all cases, all teams will not have the same number of home/away in cases where teams meet in a neutral location to comply with the travel policy.
Also, if your team is scheduled to play a league game in a tournament. They must timely apply to the tournament, or they will be treated as failing to play a schedule game and will be withdrawn from the competition and denied participation in the State Cup.
Good luck with your Spring season,
Leslie T. Mullins
Competitive Commissioner
