RESCHEDULED North - Shreveport, LA - March 12 - 13, 2011
The Kohl's American Cup North scheduled for October 30-31 in Shreveport has been rescheduled to March 12 and 13, 2011 at Cargill Park in Shreveport. This event hosted is by CABOSA. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, March 1 at noon.
- Deadline to register is Tuesday, March 1, 2011 @ noon
- Your application payment of $75 for Jamboree (U7 and U8) and $150 for Tournament (U9 - 14) must be turned into your club with a printed and signed copy of your acceptance registration email. We will check team eligibility and send emails once per day.
- All Star teams are NOT allowed in this event.
- Participation in this event will prevent a team from competition in the 2011 Division 1 State Cup.
Welcome to the Kohl’s American Cup, the largest national tournament for recreational players. We would like to invite you and your players to Louisiana Soccer’s Fourth Annual Kohl’s American Cup.

Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup: Philosophy
The Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup provides recreational youth soccer players the opportunity to experience a consistent and high quality statewide tournament in a fun, festival-like atmosphere. It fosters stimulation and excitement about soccer in an effort to increase the recreational player’s interest in and love for the game. There were over 70 Kohl's American Cup tournaments held from February to December 2010.
We want the recreational player to feel special and have fun! The Kohl's American Cup can achieve this by providing recreational players with the opportunity to participate in an original event outside of their normal league play. The American Cup gives State Associations another benefit to bring even more service to current members and a tool to use in increasing membership enrollment.
It is the Kohl's American Cup philosophy that all players should receive equal opportunities and benefits within their level of play. All players have the right to participate in competitions where they can develop and exhibit their skills while enjoying themselves. The Kohl's American Cup provides recreational players this opportunity and places emphasis on participation, as opposed to competition.
What each player will receive in the tournament:
- Participation medals with the Kohl’s American Cup logo for all players participating in the jamboree.
- Participation certificates for all players.
- Kohl’s Merchandise Goody Bags for all players.
- T-shirts for the event will be available at a very affordable price.
- For older age groups, medals will be available for top teams provided by Louisiana Soccer Association.
Kohl’s will also have Tents, Banners, inflatable game, and volunteer support to assist in the success of the event at select venues.
